Sanuk® Canada currently does not offer any warranty claims for items purchased off Amazon at this time.
The Sanuk ® warranty applies to footwear less than one year old from confirmed date of purchase. It applies to defective materials and workmanship. All items sent to Sanuk which are past one year from date of purchase will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Items not covered through our warranty process:
- Products over 1 year old from date of purchase
- General wear and tear
- Abuse (eg: water damage)
- Products not purchased from an authorized Sanuk retailer
Please note that we do not perform repairs.
Warranties are meant to be processed through the location they were purchased so, if you bought them from a shop, all you need to do is return them to the store they came from with your original receipt and explain the issue you have found. The shop will ensure the Sanuks were bought within the last 12 months and then inspect them to determine if the damage is a factory defect rather than wear and tear. From there to shop will handle the warranty process by providing a store credit or replacement (depending on the shop policy)
Warranty Return Process
If you feel there is a manufacturers defect with your Sanuk product purchased from shopsanuk.ca or an Authorized Sanuk® dealer in Canada, should follow the directions below:
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Your Name
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Daytime Phone Number
- Style name, style sku and colour (if available)
- Where they were purchased
- When the item was purchased
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
- A brief description and photos of the issue (Tip: it's always helpful to include a photo of both soles to help speed up the process)
Not including any of the requested information may slow down the processing time. We will evaluate the request and respond with further instructions.
Items returned for defect evaluation will be processed in the order they are received. Evaluations can take 1 to 3 weeks.If it is determined that your product does not meet the criteria within our warranty policy or if it is over a year old, we will return it to you with notice of why it was not accepted.
